In the background some trees showing the first autumn colors. Eagle hunting is one of the hunting skills under the Salburuun Federation skills. The Salburuun Federation is a fascinating piece of ancient Kyrgyz culture kept alive into the modern day. Most popular is a demonstration of hunting with trained golden eagles, often using a sacrificial rabbit trapped for the purpose. Some will find this cruel, but it depicts authentic hunting traditions: this is often how young eagles are trained.
